Hello quilters and sewists, in January 2025 I will open a small shop/studio in Historic Downtown Hillsborough, NC! The shop/studio will be located at 218 S. Churton Street, suite 101, Hillsborough, NC 27278. Now you’ll be able shop online and in person. My hours will be Tuesday to Friday 11-6 and Saturday 10-4. Conveniently located next to Weaver Street Market with plenty of free parking in the parking deck behind the market. Come enjoy a day in Hillsborough with its many shops and restaurants. I know how hard it is to really “see” what the fabric is like on the websites. How big is the print? What color is that really? It says “linen look” or “texture”, what does that mean? It was great to be at the 2022 Together Again Quilt Show in Winston-Salem, NC! I had a good time meeting people and talking quilting. A lot of very beautiful quilts on display, what talent!!!!

I had a great time at the Capital City Quilters Guild Quilt Show last weekend. Thank you to all who stopped by my booth to take a look at what I have to offer. I meet a lot of wonderful quilters and sewists. This was my first quilt show to be a vendor. I know there are many quilt designers who prefer to work with solids so I have just added 50 solids and some tone-on-tone fabrics under yardage. In a couple of weeks I will be adding 50 more solids to make a complete collection of beautiful solids. If you don’t use solids in your designs, think about adding some in to give more depth and excitement to your project. Also, try adding in some black or white and see your design “POP!”
